About Me

 

Writing an "About Me" really is a bit of a daunting task -- where to start? 

My name is Alanna and I am a Toronto based young professional, and if I had to sum up what I do all day, every day, it would be: write. I write at work, I write for my blog, and I also write online content for a wedding magazine. 

I love all things beautiful: makeup, hair, fashion, travel, weddings. I have a bit of a soft spot for reality TV, and flip between whipping up home made dinners from scratch, and tossing a frozen pizza in the oven. I am trying my best to live a healthier life, and am getting there step by step. 

I have two wonderfully fuzzy kitties: Maggie and Winston, and a heart that is always set on my next adventure. I live with my boyfriend of nearly five years, and never seem to have enough closet or cupboard space. 

I love my city, and I love my country. I love celebrating the brands that made their start here, and the things that make our community great. But I also love travelling to new places, and experiencing the best of what they have to offer. No matter how far I go, I am always grateful to call Canada "home".

This last year has been one of the best yet: career advancement, European travel, moving in with my partner in life, and adding two kitties to our family. I know that the next year will be exciting, and I invite you to join along with me.
