toronto photo booth review

I knew from the moment we got engaged (okay, like, years before we got engaged) that I wanted a photo booth at our wedding. Having been to countless influencer events, wedding events, and parties with photo booths, I always enjoyed getting silly pictures with friends. I loved the process of grabbing the tacky accessories, and taking a silly photo (or seven). But then the little strip of photos would end up crumpled in my purse at worst, and stuck on my fridge at best.

homesense winners marshalls wedding shower

In mid-April I had my final bridal shower (and my wedding just a few days ago!)! Earlier in our engagement my future Mother-In-Law hosted a shower at her home outside the city for her friends, and my aunt hosted a wonderful afternoon tea at the Windsor Arms for our families. This most recent shower was hosted in our apartment's party room with all of my friends invited!

kitchenaid stand mixer artisan mini 3.5 quart review

Registering for our wedding has been one of the most fun parts about wedding planning. Yes, I know weddings aren't all about the gifts, but there is something really fun about picking out a whole bunch of things to start your new life with, and thinking about all the ways you will get to use them. Sure, its just a serving tray, but that tray represents all the fun grown up dinner parties you will host. Yes, that's just a vase, but thats the vase that will sit on the table with all your new dishes when you host Christmas for the first time ever and it will be filled with flowers that your husband picked up for you.

Last weekend my fiancé and I celebrated our engagement at a party with friends and family! We were lucky to have so many people want to come out and join us for an afternoon backyard BBQ, and to have so many guests generously gift us things off our registry. Today I am excited to be partnered with Bed Bath & Beyond to share with you some of my top registry picks, and some tips to make the whole wedding planning process a bit easier!

best places to register for wedding canada

Registering for our wedding has probably been one of the most fun parts about the wedding process so far. Going to the department store together to scan our way to wedded bliss was pretty great. Not only was it a fun date, but I can't remember the last time that Stuart and I went shopping for something other than groceries together. (actually, I remember some IKEA shopping, but that was more of a hard core attempt at survival rather than an enjoyable experience!).

register at the bay canadian wedding review

A few weeks ago my future husband and I went to register at The Bay. We opted to go to their flagship location on Queen Street right across from the Toronto Eaton's Centre. While we decided to take the subway (it was a quick trip for us!) I loved knowing that if we had chosen to drive that they are able to provide free parking on weekends.

what to register for at bed bath and beyond canada

Between wedding planning, and things getting a little crazy in my work life (which... if anybody knows what I do for work, they would know that you could probably write a Netflix series to rival House of Cards with everything that has been going on), blogging has had to take a bit of a back seat. I always, always tell my blogger friends that real life comes first. Well, in the last month, real life has been very real, and everything else has become #2. WITH THAT BEING SAID, Yesterday my fiancé and I made some time to stop by Bed Bath and Beyond to start* our registration process. It was really nice to have a bit of a date for the two of us to dream a bit about what our life is going to look like.

Well, a few things have changed since then and I am so happy to share with you that we got engaged just before Christmas.

Pre-Pre Wedding Planning & Dreaming | Spring National Bridal Show

I'm the girl who has half of her wedding planned since I was 16-- makes sense given that I am also the kind of girl to start a blog devoted to makeup, travel to the other end of the continent for a beauty conference, and take pictures of flowers basically every time I see them. When the team behind the Spring National Bridal show reached out to me to see if I would be interested in working with them to cover their upcoming show I was first flattered, then a tiny bit confused (I'm not engaged!), and then honestly really, really excited. Keep reading to learn a bit about the upcoming show, a bit about where I am at in my relationship, and why I think now is a great time for me to go to the show.
