Project Pan 2015

I didn't kick off 2015 with the goal of hitting pan-- but I did!  Six times!  I'm pretty impressed if I do say so myself.  Hitting pan is a huge accomplishment for a beauty enthusiast like myself-- it means that despite my hoards of products I loved these enough to give them some serious attention.  So let's see what products I made progress on!

Project Pan 2015

ColourPop "Amaze" is a super pretty sheer gold cream eyeshadow.  I got this in my first ColourPop order (review here) and this quickly became my favourite.  I was surprised at how shallow the pan is, but given how cheap they are I'm not really complaining.  I love using this for a quick pop of sparkle for an every day look.

MAC Paint Pot "Painterly" is almost all gone!  I'm really scraping the edges to use it all up.  I've already repurchased this product (review here).  I've already said this a few times, but this really is my holy grail eye product.  It evens out my lids and can double as a shadow and a primer. I love how easy this is to work with, and how long it lasts!

Smashbox Brow Tech "Auburn" is a really solid brow product for ladies like myself who often prefer a warmer brow.  While I haven't been gravitating towards this lately, my usual pencil ended up in my boyfriend's suit case as we packed up our hotel room in Cuba.  Yesterday I hit pan on the powder.  Thankfully Smashbox sells the wax on its own.

MAC Pro Longwear Blush "Stay Pretty" is one of my favourite winter blushes-- so I will be wearing it more often in the coming months.  This matte blush leaves a nice wash of colour that lasts all day.

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder "Highlight 01" was my first holy grail highlighter. While I admit that I don't reach for it as much since adding Champagne Pop to my collection, I still appreciate how much more subtle this is.  It really does create a natural pretty glow!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush "Mirage"was a limited edition blush from their 2014 Holiday Collection (possibly a Black Friday deal?  I'm not sure).  I love this (mostly) matte light pink, and how is builds up.  This was my first Tarte blush, and I am happy to say I have since added many more to my collection.  I love to take this travelling with me because its so small and easy to pack.   Also-- super flattering.

What products did you manage to hit pan on this year?  My goal for this year it to hit pan on 6 more. Let's see how I do!

  1. It's seriously so satisfying to see people hit pan on products! Must be a beauty blogger thing- the only thing I managed to hit pan on was my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder!
