cerave canada giveaway

Last month CeraVe Canada invited me to join them for their #DermWednesday Facebook chat.  I had a blast sharing some of my skin care tips with their audience, and learning about their products with Dr. Barankin.

CeraVe is a skin care brand available at most drug stores.  They have an affordable price point and are great for sensitive skin.  Their products are designed to help strengthen the skin barrier.  They leave skin feeling soft, clean and healthy.

"CeraVe has a full line of products recommended for Face and Body to address not only dry or oily skin but also for use as part of a recommended skin care regimen suitable for those with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea and atopic dermatitis."

I wanted to share with you my thoughts on some of the products I have been really enjoying from the brand, and then give you a chance to win a prize pack that I had the chance to put together!

I've been loving the Renewing SA Foot Cream to help keep my feet looking good for the summer.  I like to apply it at night and then put some socks on.  When I wake up my feet are much softer, and it is much easier to buff away my callouses.

I feel like I always neglect the delicate skin around my eyes, however I have been enjoying the Eye Repair Cream.  While I can't comment on long term effects, it has a nice balmy feeling and leaves my eyes feeling refreshed.

The Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 is probably my favourite product that I have had a chance to use from the brand.  SPF 30 really is the new SPF 15, and applying this in the morning means that my skin is covered incase I end up spending some extra time outside.  I can't stress enough how important SPF is in the summer!

The Moisturizing Cream is their most iconic product.  I love using it on my hands (but you can buy a big tub and use it all over!).  It has a really simply, creamy soft scent that is quite nice.  My office has AC which means the air is quite dry in the summer.  Having this cream in my purse makes my hands feel better!

The Hydrating Cleansing Bar is made with a good helping of the moisturizing cream.  This is unlike the plain white soap bars I have used in the past.  It leaves my skin feeling soft, not tight and dry.  It gently removes (some) makeup and lathers to a nice frothy bubble.  Best part? Leaving it in the bathroom means that my boyfriend has been using this on his skin too.

While we could probably get into a whole post on "gendered" products and about how higher end skin care is equally for men and women, there is something about this clinical, almost scent free, no-nonsense line that makes it very accessible for boyfriends, husbands, and dads.  The men in our lives need skincare just as much as women do.

I wanted to take a second to share my top three sun care tips for summer: (1) Wear SPF every day. (2) Drink lots of water. (3) Don't forget the tops of your feet and the back of your neck when applying sun screen.

I have really enjoyed exploring this line, and have a few more products that I look forward to testing. The price point is generally $20 and under with most products in the $12 range.  CeraVe has quite a loyal fan base, but up until now I have not had the chance to try it.  I have enjoyed the products that I have been testing, and I think a number of them are perfect for summer! With that in mind... I have a little prize pack for you to win.  There are a few ways to enter...
