Memebox opened my eyes to a whole world of Korean Beauty!  One thing I have learned from my time with Memebox is how fantastic Tony Moly products are! When I saw this beautiful little lip balm at an end cap in Sephora for $11, I simply had to have it!

Babylips!

I have always been a big fan of Maybelline's Babylips.  They are simple, and fun, they taste fantastic, and keep my lips moist.  Generally they go for $5.99 but can often be found on sale.  What's not to love?

There are three collections, Baby Lips, Baby Lips Electro (the neon collection), and Baby Lips Dr. Rescue (medicated).  I now own at least one from each set.

From Left to Right:

Blue - Quenched

This one has a yummy, sweet flavour.  I can't quite place it, but it is wonderful.

Green - Peppermint

This get the "his of approval" from my boyfriend.

Purple - Peach Kiss

This is my absolute favourite out of all of them.  I love the subtle shimmer and the peachy shade.  I've been reaching for this guy in my purse quite a bit!  At this rate it will be the first lip balm I actually finish.  <3

Black/Pink - Pink Shock
Babylips Electro Lip Balm

Sometimes the pink can be a bit bright, but its great for a subtle/bold look.

Turquoise - Limited Edition

I don't know what this one is supposed to be, but its yummy and has a subtle natural colour.

Pink - Pink Punch

Pink lemonade!  A pretty pink shade, what's not to love?

Orange - Cherry Me

LOVE how it smells.  I swear I would eat this if I didn't know better.

Black/Purple - Berry Bomb

I picked this up on sale for $2.99.  Similar to Pink Shock this boasts a bold colour.  It smells like plastic berries, or a freeze.  Not my favourite, but I love the purple tinge it adds to my lips!

White - Pink Me Up
Babylips in Dr. Rescue

Also picked up on sale for $2.99.  It smells good, but I haven't given it a try.  I am saving it for winter when I will need something a bit stronger.

What is your favourite Maybelline Baby Lip product?  I am in love with Peach Kiss.  Do you have both Baby Lips and an EOS balm?  Which do you like better?

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain

I am a Sephora make-up snob.  However I have been hearing such great things about these lip stains that I had to give them a try.  Conveniently they were on sale when I was browsing the isles of Shoppers Drug Mart 2 for $15.  I opted for one in my comfort range, and one a bit outside of it.

The darker berry shade on the top is 005 Crush and the light pink shade is 001 Honey.  There are three finishes in this line: matte, glossy, and stain.  The colours I pick up are stains.

These have a peppermint scent that is noticeable when you smell it, but not overbearing when you wear it.  On my lips it feels fresh and clean.  Bonus: Kiss friendly scent.

Left: Crush
Right: Honey

Wearing Crush!

I applied Crush at about 2:00 pm.  After eating, drinking, talking, and everything else that comes with daily life it was still on and going strong at 9:00 pm.  After a bit it lost its glossy (but not sticky) feel and  left behind a berry stain.  At first I was concerned that this colour was too dark for me but it faded to be a pretty berry shade.  As for Honey, it is the perfect "my lips but better" shade!

Bonus: After it sets no stain gets left behind when you sip tea or kiss somebody special!

For my first venture into the regular section of a drug store for lip products (with the exception of Baby Lips by Maybelline)  in a very long time I would say these are pretty great.  These will be perfect for an office appropriate or summer casual look.  Light, fresh, and oh so pretty.  I am very happy with this purchase!
