I'm Back! | My Trip To California

Hey everybody!  I'm back! This morning at 6:50 AM I landed at Pearson airport in Toronto, went home, and went straight to sleep.  I've got lots of posts to catch up on, and will be doing some more in depth posts on my recent trip to California, including some travel related posts, my Colourpop haul and probably some of the packing mistakes I made.  In the mean time I just wanted to share some of my favourite photos I took, and tell you a bit about what I did!

Beauty Lovers Tag!

I was reading Trysh's blog the other day and came across "The Beauty Lovers Tag" and in the name of a lazy afternoon I figured why not!  I love tag posts because they're just fun, and easy, and I mean I get to talk more about makeup.

Essence Liquid Lipstick Collection*

When I first saw these I was really excited because I thought they were matte liquid lipsticks.  And while that is not the case, they are actually really lovely highly pigmented lip glosses.  Keep reading for my thoughts & swatches.

Generation Beauty Toronto Day 1 | 2016

Today my friends and I went to Generation Beauty in Toronto.  Overall we had a great time trick-or-treating for make-up, chatting about our boyfriends in line, and taking selfies for product.  Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!  Keep reading for what we got today and our basic thoughts…and lots of pictures!

I'm Hosting A Makeup Geek Giveaway on Instagram

Hey beautifuls!  I just wanted to give you a quick update... I am co-hosting a loop giveaway on Instagram this week!  Full details are on the photo.  Head on over to my account (@alanna.victoria) to enter!

The prize? A large Z-Palette filled with 24 Makeup Geek eyeshadows, each seletced by a co-host! By the time I decided, two of my three favourites were already picked: Twilight and Mermaid.  So, I decided to include Duchess, a beautiful matte purple that is so lovely in the crease!

What's In My Z-Palette?

Last month I was going through some of my make-up and I came across my smaller Z-Palette. Between moving and the general business of life this some how just ended up in the back of my collection.  I am so happy to have it back out for summer, and thought I would share with you what I keep in her, because I know I am nosey enough to want to know what others keep in theirs!
