PIXI BEAUTY | Face Mists

in BeautyAs you may know, I am currently on vacation! Today I am in London, England, and so I thought it would be fun to share a quick little post featuring one of my favourite British beauty brands!
Created by Petra Strand, Pixi launched over 10 years ago at their flagship boutique in Soho London. Rooted in skincare, Pixi's iconic Glow Tonic put them on the map. Toady I am excited to be sharing with you a review of three of their face mists!
Pixi now has a collection of 5 face mists.
The Makeup Fixing Mist prolongs makeup wear and keeps it from moving. Infused with rose water and green tea this formula feels light on the skin and adds almost a soft-focus finish. After I finish applying my makeup I like to close my eyes and spritz my face from about 10-15 cm away from my face. I find it helps extend the wear and finish of my makeup. I actually wore this the other day to a wedding and I was so impressed by how it kept my makeup looking fresh all night!
The Hydrating Milky Mist is without a doubt my favourite of the three that I have had a chance to try. It is so refreshing on the skin, and leaves my dry skin feeling hydrated. Again, this product is light on the skin, providing an instant boost of hydration. I like to use this in the morning when I get up after washing my face before I do my makeup. On lazy days at home when I am not wearing any makeup I spray my face with it every few hours because it feels so nice!
The Glow Mist leaves my skin with a glowing and luminous complexion. This formula has 13 natural oils plus aloe vera! I don't find this mist very hydrating, but I love the glow it leaves my skin with. Sometimes I use this in place of toner, and I find it is great to use morning, night, or really any time.
Of the three mists I have had a chance to try, the Hydrating Milky Mist is by far my favourite. I love how it feels on my skin.
Have you had a chance to try any of these mists? Which is your favourite?
Pixi is availiable at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada.
