My Custom MAC Palette | March (Satin Taupe)

Every month this year I am adding one shadow to my 15 pan MAC pro palette.  With prices dropping from $12 per pan to $8 per pan that just got a whole lot easier!  If you want to hear something crazy... single shadows remain $19.  So when buying your first MAC shadow you can either spend $10 on the palette, $3 on the plastic insert and $8 on the shadow, plus $8 for every additional shadow, or $19 each and every time.  You do the math.

Lush Easter | 2016 Collection

LUSH always knocks it out of the park when it comes down to their limited edition holiday releases. While their Mother's Day and Christmas collections are my all time favourites, their Easter 2016 collection, with its bright colours, completely caught my eye.  I picked up two bath products from this collection!  The perfect way to relax over this super long weekend.  These Easter Eggs are totally sweet and indulgent, but won't put the breaks on a healthy lifestyle!  If only the Easter Bunny hid these (maybe not the glitter one?) around my house... #goals

Paint It Pink | Sephora Favourites

As I have mentioned time and time again, Sephora Favourites are my absolute favourite gift sets to buy at Sephora.  They have great value, a mix of full size and deluxe mini sized products from a variety of brands.  This set is curated around the colour pink, and contains a mix of different products and brands.  The inclusion of a Beauty Blender makes my day, as does the mini Becca highlighter! Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani | Rock Steady

This purchase is proof that samples work.  In January I purchased the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eye shadow palette (read my review here) and I honestly thought that would be my only purchase from that collection.  Well in the package there was a sample card with four limited edition lipsticks. My Trip To H&M Home in Toronto

MAC x Zac Posen | Darling Clementine

Recently MAC has collaborated with New York designer Zac Posen to debut a make-up collection featuring bold and daring colours.  While I can't say I know much about this designer, when I saw that the collection featured a matte orange-red lipstick I knew I had to get my hands on it.

Every year Sephora releases some great sets in time for Christmas that bring together some of their favourite brands.  This year I had a choice.  I could cough up $90 and review this set before Christmas, or my Mom could buy it for me as a gift and I could talk about it after Christmas.  So thanks Mom! While this set is no longer available, any of these products are around all year in their full size form.

Mean Girls & Blogging Thoughts

No movie defined my pre-teen years quite like Mean Girls.  It is probably the only movie I regularly quote, as in, my friends talk back and forth to each other in Mean Girls from time to time.
