Earlier this summer Clinique launched a bright, bold, and beautiful collection with interior designer Jonathan Adler. Adler was inspired by "jet-set glamour" and as luck would have it, I received this collection at more or less the same time that I set off on my own whirlwind vacation. While this post is up a litter later than I would like, I have zero regrets about my trip! He said that he wanted to reflect the luxury and beauty of iconic summer destinations. While he may not have named a lipstick after Barcelona, Morocco or Nice, this collection brings back wonderful memories of a perfect vacation.
This collection included Clinique's popular Lip, Lid, and Cheek Pops. I don't know if I have ever got into it on the blog, but I am a big fan of Clinique's Cheek Pop blushes. For this launch I was lucky enough to be sent both the pretty pink brush set and the three lipsticks!
The packaging is all very Art Deco (much like the hotel we stayed in in Nice!) complete with bold geometric patterns and bright hues.
Santorini Pop, Capri Pop, Bare Pop
Bare Pop is a pretty pink nude with a hint of shimmer or frost to it. Capri Pop is a blue toned hot pink. Santorini Pop is a rich, purple toned magenta. Of these three lipsticks, Capri Pop is my favourite for the summer! The formula for each of these lipsticks is creamy and glossy. They have a decent wear time, and are a pleasure to reapply!
Did you try anything from this fun collab? There are still a decent number of items from this collection availiable on Clinique's website!
Products were sent for review. Opinions are my own!
