H102, B302, S114
Have you ever come across a face palette, and loved every colour... except for one? Say hello to MAKE UP FOR EVER's latest launch: the Artist Face Colours. This new collection of 34 shades has everything from shimmery pearls to rich bronzes, from soft pinks to bright oranges. And they truly have shades that work for all skin tones.
I was at a pre launch party earlier in the fall, with ladies and gentlemen from all sorts of backgrounds, and everybody's eyes were lit up as we swatched our hearts out.
These large magnetic pans can be inserted into single, double and triple compacts, or any magnetic palette you own. I love the palettes they created to go with the pans-- they are great quality and have a fantastic mirror.
On the left is H102 "Shimmery Pink Alabaster". This soft pearly shade has a gentle sheen. It creates a beautiful glow for every day wear- not a high glam "Insta" look-- and I love it.
In the middle is B302 "Shimmery Peach". This pretty glowing peach reminds me of NARS Orgasm minus the glitter. I love how warm this makes my face look -- even in chilly weather!
The last shade is S114 "Chamois". I was expecting this to be a decent bronzer/contour, though it pulls more pink than I expected. I am loving it as a blush base, and even as a sculpting blush on its own.
Cuddling with Maggie.
For this look I lightly dusted S114 as a bronzer, and then built it up as a sculpting blush base. I then topped my blush off with B302 to add warmth, and H102 as a highlighter.
I love how well these powders photograph. They apply well, and are finely milled with minimal kick back. They felt great on my skin, and wore well all day.
You can create a face palette with a blush, contour, and highlighter, or an all blush, all highlight, or all contour palette-- its entirely up to you. I loved being able to create a palette with everything I need for a pretty and polished look!
Lustrous Blush Palette
The Artist Face Colours and the Lustrous Blush Palette are both availiable at Sephora. Individual shades retail for $29 each.
